On this worksheet I had to work out how many animals were at the African Safari. We used place value to solve it so we can get the answer . Then we use a paper graph to show how many animals were there. Next I found the numbers then I coloured the squares in.
I am a Year 6 student at Glen Innes School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 12 and my teacher is Mrs Barry.

Manaiakalani Film Festival
I really like watching the Manaiakalani movies because some were entertaining and some were about learning too.
This was our first year having our own blogs. So we decided to make a movie about what we had learnt. We have learnt how to leave good comments on other peoples blogs. We got some ideas watching Mrs Yollis’ video on her class blog. My favourite part was talking about make a connections . When we did our parts to read we all had a challenge with our groups. When we finished we shouted out Technology and held our signs and said “happy blogging.”

learning games
I have been learning how to use rhyming words to make a song. And I got 97% so I am going to try harder next time.
I was learning about sequencing. This will help me to organise my ideas properly.
In this game I was learning about prefixes and suffixes. It is good fun.
